I need you help! We are trying to figure out if we should tip our vendors. Our venue is all-inclusive so we are using the vendors on their approved list. What’s the protocol for tipping the following: dj, coordinator, caterer, musician, florist?
We are not being cheap, we just don’t know what is typical.

This is a pretty good post on tipping the photog and dj:
Also check your contracts, gratuity is probably built in. If not, I think caterers receive the customary 15-20%?

I found this page the other day, and even though it’s for Canada, I think it’s pretty accurate to what else I’ve been hearing for my area. But this was the most clear page I’ve found.
My favorite tip here is that no one person should get a tip over $150, which I think is a good idea. They say 10-20% on limo drivers, but that can get really pricey and it’s sometimes included in the contract price.
Be sure to check any contracts you have to see where (if at all) tipping might be included. One of my BMs had an issue with this the other day. She didn’t know a tip was already included, and was surprised when she found out it was.
