there’s a really nice gym in town that literally costs $95 a month for just myself to go and put my daughter in the daycare center while I workout. Obviously, I’m cheap so I’m going to the least expensive place around that still has childcare, but it’s still $60 a month for my daughter and myself! To add SO on is another $40! How much do you pay for your gym membership?

Planet Fitness has no childcare and it is $10/month for me. I’ve been running outside though (85 degrees and 100% humidity – awful) and haven’t gone in a while.

I pay $25 for a 12 visit card at the community center so I can mix working out at the community center with other exercise (walking the dogs, riding my bike, playing Dance Dance Revolution, et cetera).

@Ninteenthchance: My current pilates/yoga/barre studio membership is $150 per month. The old yoga/pilates studio I went to for about two years was $99 a month, but I recently upgraded to a better studio to help me get bikini perfect for the honeymoon.

Ours is $65/month each without childcare. I believe they tack on another $10 a month per child per member for that.
Our gym is FABULOUS. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else!! Paying more helps keep us accountable, too.

@sofiekitty: I’m at Equinox in NYC. It’s $170 per month for the universal and I think $155 if you just want to stick with one location.
