$50!!!! Can you believe it?! That's a steal - I was expecting $100. Good thing is - I know she does an amazing job; I've been going to her for 8 years.
Mine is $100 for both hair and makeup. I don't know how much my trials will be but I can tell you after next Saturday when I have them. Mine is also the person I've been going to for a while and she's traveling to do this so $100 for both is a really good deal.
My hair was free because there were a total of 10 people getting their hair done at the salon. If I had paid full price it would have been $80. My hair trial was also free (but I gave a $20 tip) because they had to cancel my appointment 10 minutes beforehand and I had flown from Virginia to Georgia for the weekend specifically for that trial. It would have been 1/2 the cost of the full hair so $40
Mine is free :) i've been going to the same stylist for 10+ years, so it's her gift to me! I am paying her for my BMs to get their hair done, which I believe is only going to cost $60.
My hair trial was free but I tipped her $25

Mine was $80, and I was pissed because they said it would be no more than $60. Unfortunately, I had left to run to my make-up appointment at another place, and my mom had no idea that they had lied. If we had enough time I would have gone back!
Mine will be free :) My sister and MOH is a hair stylist/dresser and always colors, cuts, and styles me free of charge. I love her!
OMG- where are you all located?!? I'm in DC (northern VA) and I paid $450 which included the trial and day-of hair and make-up. For the trial, i went to them. But they came to me on the wedding day.
my trial is 40 and day of is 65, so 105 total.
my sister in law is a fabulous desinger for a snazzy spa in my area, so she is doing my hair as my wedding gift. i am paying $56 for my makeup trial though and $56 for my makeup the day of the wedding.
I am paying around $250.00 for both hair and makeup on the wedding day and also for a trial. They are also coming to me.
Mine will be $68 (includes trial). Bridesmaids will be $55.
If I'm close to a bride I always offer to do her hair as a gift. I'm not a professional hair dresser but I've worked in the Salon Industry for years. I picked up a talent along the way updo and styling (don't ask me to cut or color though).
I think I'm going to do my myself (beleive it or not I'm much better at my own than other peoples) to save but the thought of being pampered does sound nice.
The Gost of Updo's past I did...I fugure it's a great gift I can save them $100 or more.

I paid $250 for my hair and make-up. My stylist also came to our suite to help me put in the veils while the photographer was there before the ceremony.
$50 for the trial and $50 for the wedding day. My stylist is actually trying to talk me OUT of the trial. She said she can rarely replicate it the exact same and if I know what I want, I shouldn't waste my money on the trial. I've gone to her for years and trust her, but I still haven't decided what to do.
My makeup is $225. My hair looks like $75 for the trail and $175 an hour for bridal hair on scene for me. So all in all probably about $250 for hair + $225 makeup= $575... I almost just wet myself.
Zero! My hairdresser was invited to the wedding and my wedding hair was his gift to me. I did give him a nice tip; but then again, I always do!

If you don't mind sharing, how much did you pay for your up- or down-do? Was your hair trial included? If not, how much was that? Just trying to get an idea whether or not what I'm seeing is normal
