It depends on the length of the aisle. There is no one-size-fits-all answer because each is different. That's one of the things that you go over during the rehearsal. Also, keep in mind that you'll be walking slower than your normal pace.
i plan on visiting the church, and (prob looking like a crazy person ) counting in my head "1 one thousand..2 one thousand..." while walking down the entire aisle. That way i'll get a sense of how long it takes 1 person to get down the aisle..then multiply by your bridesmaids/party...
yep...thats my plan!
@krissybee-that's a great idea! I've been trying to figure out how I'd figure that out! lol that's a great way! :)

This may seem like a crazy question.. but how much music DO you really need to walk up the aisle? Maybe the married bees can help me...
I am getting married in a hotel ballroom, ~180 guests so I would say... average size aisle. I'm having 5 bridesmaids before me and then I am walking with my dad. We may or may not do the Jewish "circling" (I haven't decided yet).
My issue is that I really want to use one piece of music; I don't want to have to worry about fading music in. I'm strongly considering using the Forrest Gump theme song (but with the sad part cut out). It's about 8 minutes long. Enough music? Too much? Any advice from those who have been there, done that and have some tips?
