My fiance and I are having friends of ours do our ceremony music. We have a pianist, guitarist, violinist, and soloist. They are each doing a total of three songs together (2 prelude songs and 1 special music number during the ceremony). None of the musicians are “professionals” who do this on a regular basis. How much do you think we should pay/gift them (per person)?

I would probably go with $50 each (wasn’t sure if your poll was per person or for all 4).

I am going to bump this one back up to get a little bit more input!

I def agree with $50 each.

I am in a non-professional flute choir and we have been hired to do weddings and other fancy events. Non-professional = isn’t our full-time jobs.
Our rate for a quartet is $175 the first hour and $150 for every hour after that. We’re in Utah so things are a bit cheaper here I think.
Your $50/pp for 1 hour sounds good.

I would offer to pay them at least market rate, whatever that is in your area, and hopefully they refuse the money.
