I’ve been wondering what that bumping is all about.

Okay, here’s my idea.  Fresh out of bed, before coffee even:

A lovely 5×7 picture frame, that is intended to hold a photo of you and your bridesmaids on your wedding day.  In the frame when you gift it to them is an invitation.  It’s an invitation to a nice dinner with your girls on a specific date a few weeks/months after the wedding (so you’ll have time to save money again).  And then when you meet them for dinner, you bring the printed photographs in pretty envelopes, with a personal thank-you written on the back of each photo.

First off, that is so awesome that they gifted your honeymoon!!!! My budget is the same as yours, but I only have three girls total. I set a limit of spending 300 and that has helped me to keep the cost down because I want to buy them everything! I didn’t buy their dresses, but I bought them custom bracelets, hairpieces, flip flops for dancing at the reception, totes to carry their stuff in and will be buying them some tumblers. I wanted to buy them a lot more ( flanks, wristlets) but I am trying to be careful with my spending. I think I might make them custom frames with our names on them or maybe the date of the wedding so they can put a picture in it from the wedding. Also, I was going to make them thank you notes. But if you don’t DIY much, you can always find these items on Etsy.com for less than buying in the store.

@Adams_bee:  I totally agree! I use etsy mostly for inspiration for my DIY projects except for things I can’t make like their hairpieces and braceletes and my mask for our masquerade dance.

At michaels, hobby lobby or joannes you can get those small boxes or even those empty books made of paper mache. Maybe you can decorate or paint a small box for each girl and write thank yous on small strips of paper and also reasons why you love them, their strengths and such, so they have a box of love from you that they can always cherish.

@Adams_bee:  That would be super cute! Now I feel like I need to add some more projects on my list for them!
