Um, when I was planing my wedding, an embarassing number between work and home. i'd watch tv while buzzing all night until bed! Now, I'm cutting back, but obviously it's lunchtime so i'm back. It correlates with how fried my brain is at work =P
I don't know how much time, exactly, but WAY TOO MUCH. I think I'm on here all day. ;)
I'm on a lot during the work day as things are slow now. I don't go on at all at night, and only a small amount during the weekends. I think half my problem is I like being in the leaders list. Yes, it's sad but true! :hangs head:
I know I spend more time than I should, but hey I'm planning a freaking wedding over here!!! ![]()
I just wonder how many hours I've logged at work on this site....
Pretty much at work, after lunch when I get tired and bored, I'm on all afternoon trying not to get caught! I switch over to a random spreadsheet whenever someone walks by :) Being in a cubicle sucks, btw. If I had an office of my own I would so be voting the 5+ hours!
@MrsSl82be - I wonder the same thing! Probably fire-able levels of time is spent on WB. oops!
I leave it up all day!
Well... see.... I keep a browser open in the background that has weddingbee, theknot, google reader, my personal e-mail, and some other things like that. When I have a second or a minute... or an hour...
I switch over and have some me time. I selected 3-5 hours, because I also get on in the evenings at home sometimes.
it's hard to add up but in the last few months of wedding planning I also leave it open and refresh probably once an hour at work . . . totally an addiction, and honestly I'm not sure it will stop after the wedding . . .
I only joined about a month ago, so I'm on all the time reading old blogs and looking through pictures!
A terrible amount, I'm afraid. I pretty much leave it up all day. Some days I have more time to post on boards etc than others, but I'm always checking it!
Oops...
Ummm....a lot. Like too much so I didn't vote. I'm not employed these days so I'm on off and on all day. Amazingly, today I have almost 30 posts and I have printed out my invites, cut, and used the Martha Stewart Eyelet punch to punch two edges of the invites. And I've put on a pot of homemade spaghetti sauce to cook for a few hours. And I'm doing laundry. So today, somehow I'm doing pretty good balancing real life and Weddingbee!
Well, I am subscribed to both Weddingbee & Pro in my google reader, and I visit to post on the boards / look through pictures and stuff so....it's a lot. Back before I was engaged I read Weddingbee, and now that we're 9+ months into planning, it's even more!
I'm so glad I'm not alone! Just got back from lunch, back to work - that is back to WB...
Just finished school and still looking for a job. From that I think we can all venture as to how much time I spend on this thing
If it is a BeeTV day it ends up being waaaaay too much time. Can't get enough!
I ALWAYS have it up even though I track it in Google Reader...it takes awhile to get there! Im on it ALL DAY LONG, constaly paroozing the boards and other peoples business
and it doesnt stop when I go home...I look at it on my iPhone AND when I get home on my PC. FI has to tell me he wants alone time with me hahaha
I spend way too much time on here! I am on ALL THE TIME at work when I am bored and I read it at home too.
The same here, everytime I finish something at work I give myself a WB reward but at the end of the day I realize sometimes I'm here wayyy more than I deserve lol
I am so glad I'm not the only one who voted 3-5 hours a day. I was afraid I was going to click it and it was going to show up as the only vote.
Quite a bit more than I care to admit... especially now that the wedding is over. I just can't keep away from the hive! :o)
*peeks in* Seriously, I'm too ashamed to answer. I'm always on WeddingBee. I don't do any "social networking sites" and I've never blogged or went on a message board, but I'm completely addicted to WeddingBee. It's so weird.
I have to say that it's my most useful tool in wedding planning so far and the wealth of information learned here really is more than I've learned anywhere ... even magazines, my wedding planner or any other vendor or website.
WAY too much time!! BUT, is that even possible?! LOL
@MsHymanRoth: I totally agree about the information you get on here.
When I started planning, I thought I would be buying EVERY wedding magazine that existed, BUT luckily I found WB before I started to and have only bought ONE since then. Who needs a wedding magazine when you have an interactive network of REAL women going through the same process?!
LOVE YOU WB!!!!
This is a GREAT post - WB is so addicting! I'd be on here a lot more if Mr Palm Tree didn't roll his eyes every time he caught me on here!
I work 10-12 hours a day, so maybe 1-2 hours on WB if I'm lucky! I usually come home pooped and eat some dinner and get my fix of WB after my meal. Then it's time for some quality time with the FI and then off to bed!
I'm usually out and about on the weekends (if I'm not working), so I spend less time at home on the computer.
I voted for 1-2 hours but sometimes its 3-5 depending on the day :)
Just got back from a 3-day road trip. I went through a complete WB withdrawal! :)
I'm here at various times during the day. This week I'll be scarce though b/c we're going to florida on a vacation! Woo hoo!
I too will have Bee-drawals! But T is bringing his laptop so we'll be ok!

I'm sitting here at work and I can't get away from WB...I just keep moving from one post to the next! This is fun and it is so rewarding to find such wonderful ladies! (Yet, I'm so behind work and this is ridiculous!) I will be the first to admit it. I think I spend at least a 4-6 hours on WB...Given I'm supposed to be at work at least 8 hrs a day; sleep at least 7 hrs a day...that doesn't leave time for much...
