We are currently planning our honeymoon for fall in Rome. I have never been so I have no idea how much to budget for the trip. I have looked on kayak, trip advisor, etc. but I was wondering if anyone here has personal experience they would like to share. Has anyone done a Roman Holiday honeymoon for this amount of time and how much did you end up spending? (Including airfare, hotels, meals, etc..)

How much you spend on airfare and also hotel is also going to depend on where youre coming from- do you mind sharing what city you’d be flying from? Are you in the US (b/c that will effect cost too, with currency exchange)?
If you’re flying from the US, I would think that you can do the whole trip well within 4-5 thousand dollars- even less if you’re flexible with lodgings and dining. Food there can be as inexpensive or as expensive as you’d like it to be. It really depends on how flexible you are, if you’re willing to go into hole in the walls (or even dine on the Spanish steps with some food you bought at the supermarket!), or if you’re just looking to eat at nice restaurants the whole time. For me, gelato is always a money sucker.
Rome, thankfully, is dense, which means you can walk to a lot of places and save money on transportation. The metro system is very reliable (but be mindful of your belongings) and inexpensive. Thankfully, churches and piazzas are always free, and there are some beautiful MASTERPIECES in many of them.
