It does seem high, but is your dress lace or have some sort of detail at the end that needs preserving?

oh well then yea, totally go somewhere else.  If you got your dress near the shore I think they tend to overcharge since there arnet a whole lot of bridal places near the ocean.

@Corinninninn  $60 for the bustle and $200(!) for the hem may be too expensive for the simplily alteration.  what’s the original price ?

It seems a little expensive if it’s a simple satin, maybe call around your area for quotes to compare? It might be an area average.

@Corinninninn Just don’t ask them alter the dress, if you have a try to find your area tailor shop for the alteration? or looking for other stores. or you may can find a china shop to make the dress according to your request for you and it may only cost half of the price $1100 or less.
