So I am getting very close to choosing a caterer…it is between 2. One has a menu I *LOVE* but they are over our catering budget by $1,000 due to slightly higher cost of labor and *drum roll* the “field equipment & catering rentals” (necessary cooking equipment, glassware, china, silver, passing platters, etc)
The cost for that equipment rental with them comes to $785 appx. Is this unreasonable? How much have you paid or are going to pay for the linen/china/glassware/cooking eqiup. rentals?
I’m not sure if we go to a separate company to rent the china and glassware that we would save a significant amount.
