hi camille, i visited a ktown florist a few weeks ago that i think would be able to do it for that price. their most extravagant weddings run $3K and that is for weddings double your size. they were right below beautiful day bridal on 158 s. western

4 of my friends have gone through this florist (please don’t judge too harshly based on her website– her work is incredible!) based out of long beach: <font face=”Book Antiqua”>http://www.cristinasflowers.com/

her prices are low because she works out of home. one of the girls i know had a bridal bouquet, 7 bridesmaids bouquets, 10 bouts, 15 centerpieces, altar decorations (all red roses) for about $1500.

Hey Camille! Out of all the Ktown florists, I’d recommend La fleur.. She’s really good! I mean really good! and her prices are reasonable.. if you want to look at pictures, i should have some, so let me know. It’s best to check out her store and see her work!

One other option is to donate your flowers to a hospital or to hospice care following the ceremony. Our florist is going to pick ours up/distribute them to a local hospice after the reception. That being said, I do think that you can spend less, depending on where you live. I have a bridal party of 14 and need 15 centerpieces; my flowers will come in just a bit over $2k in the Denver-metro area.

I think I will be spending about $1200 on flowers.

I have 2 bridesmaids bouquets, 1 maid of honor, my bouquet, 12 centerpieces made out of only roses, arch decoration, 5 boutnierres, and 1 pomander for FG.

The centerpieces will be done by me.

Check out Costco online if you decide that internet is an option. They have amazing prices and I think their solid rose collections, star of bethlehem, and calla lillies are very pretty. You would have to provide the vases, but these are very easy to source out for cheap online.

I got:

1 bridal bouquet

1 toss bouquet

flower for hair

3 bridesmaid bouquets

12 boutineers

6 corsages

6 manzinita tree centerpieces (with flowers at the base of tree and orchids tied on branches)

6 flower arrangements to put atop pillars that lined the ceremony aisle and that doubles as guest table centerpieces

1 gazebo arch arrangement – which doubled as the sweetheart table decoration

flowers for every level of a three tiered cake

petals for the cake table

and 2 cala lily arrangements for the guest book table and escort card table

delivery to the venue which was 1 hour from the flower shop and set up of flowers

and then on the day of, for free she decorated the aisle with rose petals

All this done by for about $1800 (incl. tax) in San Diego by Sheri Bernadino at Elegant Touch Floral Designs. http://www.sdweddingflowers.com/. The flowers were INCREDIBLE looking, beautiful!!! Sheri is the sweetest and most talented lady. Can’t recommend her enough! She listened to what I wanted, respected and worked with my budget and was constantly offering acceptable, more cost effective alternitives. She was actually excited when she found a way to save me $75! I 100% trusted her and that feeling was priceless! Ladies, stunning flowers CAN happen on a budget – just do your homework to find the right florist!!!
