How much would an updo like this cost at the hairdresser? (very pic heavy)

At my hairdresser there is one set price for a bridal updo (I think $125), and they consider anything with one pin in it an up do (so half up styles too).  I think most salons charge that way

Hairdressers typically charge a flat rate for bridal hair, regardless of what you’re having done. One updo isn’t more expensive than another. The only thing that will cost more is if you require extensions.

MrsJenningsToBe:  I live outside London, UK and have had very similar ones to those done a few times. I pay £50 (about 80 USD), plus tip. They look very complicated but aren’t to a professional; usually takes about 40 minutes to do mine.

Mine cost $120 , it was pretty much their standard “bridal” rate for anything you had done as an updo. Similarly all the bridesmaids who had anything more than just their hair curled got charged the standard “special occasion” price.

MrsJenningsToBe:  It really depends on where you live. I paid $400 for my wedding day hair and make up. It was close to $200 for my hair alone. and I had an updo similar to that. <br />You really should price out salons in your area.

MrsJenningsToBe:  My updo was a low bun of curls (no pics, sorry).  Although a friend of mine (whom is a hair dresser) gifted me my hair for the wedding, she generally charges $125 for the trial, and the day of bridal hair!

I purchased a blingy headband for about $35 online, which added the perfect sparkle for me as well!!

our hair person came to our venue.  she charged a $100 travel fee and $60 to do each person’s hair no matter how complicated.

I never imagined hair would cost so much!  My regular hairdresser did my updo, and charged me $35.  It took DH and me about a half hour to pull all of the pins out of it.  Unfortunately, this is the only photo I have on my computer.

I paid $60 for my hair on my wedding day. We had a hairdresser come to my parents house and do all of our hair. She did an amazing job!
