I need your opinions ladies! I recently scheduled my hair appt for my wedding. I refused to grow my hair out because 1. I didn't want an updo and 2. I love my hair and wanted to let it be down and fun for my wedding. So when I saw the salon was going to charge me $66 for my hair I freaked. My thought was to do something like a poof in the front with my natural curly hair and I have a headband that I am wearing. I DO NOT think that is worth $66. So I talked to my friend who is currently in hair school and she said she would come to us at our venue and do our hair for $40 a piece. I still feel like that is high, considering she is in hair school, but for the convenience of having her there to do it, maybe the price is right. How much would you pay for hair, considering everything I have just said. I am uploading a pic of my hair so you can get an idea of what it is (it's a bit longer in the front now but you get the idea)

Yeah, I don't think I'd pay $40, mainly because she's still in school and you aren't wanting anything elaborate done.

I normally pay $46 for a haircut and that is by a top stylist. I just looked at one of the cosmetology schools websites...they charge $25 for an updo with curls...so I guess 40 for her to come to us isn't bad. Plus I think she is in the 2nd part of hair school. She is in with an actual high end salon training with them now. Thanks ladies!
