@Corgi Great points you made. Yep, it seems that most couples (at least those I know anyway) who split/cheat are just plain bored and looking for something better (grass is greener....). They are looking for somebody ELSE to make them happy. That's not how it works...

I think from reading many comments here on this topic, that us Bees are going to have long, happy marriages. :)

Very interesting article, however, it does not hold accountable some of the behavior of the men mentioned. In terms of living together before marriae, I don't think it is a "death sentence" for your marriage; it is just that bad relationships may turn into bad marriages when people are living together and it is harded at the time to move out than to break up.

I don't get it. Marriage isn't all puppies and rainbows, so stick it out, BUT if you don't think about who you're going to marry then it's gonna be miserable. So stick out the misery if you weren't smart enough to think enough in advance. Sounds oxymoronic. There's really zero advice in the article. Seriously, if you don't care about each other enough to ride the bumps you probably shouldn't be together.

That is a really interesting article!

As far as the living together...I can see how that point makes sense for some people (people getting wrapped up in living together where they may have broken up if not sharing one roof). I always thought I would get married before I'd ever live with anyone...and i almost made it, I didn't move in with my FH until we got engaged ;)

I liked the article. It made sense to me. I live with my FI and I understand why they think you don't break up because it's too hard (that's not our case, however).
