A friend of mine wrote an article on a topic I think many of us brides have encountered at one time or another: How to address individuals who invite themselves to your wedding. I found the article to be an interesting read and had helpful suggestions on how to handle this type of situation. I hope it will be useful to others.

I have not only had a girlfriend of mine invite herself to our wedding, but she also just invited herself into my bridal party!

How Rude!!!

Needless to say, we've had a falling out since and now... pardon my language... now i dont have to deal with that cow!

@ Coffee cup...thanks I'm glad you like it the writer did a great job. @ Pappy8 I'm sorry to hear your relationship with your girlfriend was affected by this. I'm still amazed how something as a joyous as a wedding can create so many problems for many brides.
