Ladies, out of curiosity how many hpt’s do you buy on a regular bases and how often to you test? I usually buy a three pack and test once every month.. i’m debating on only testing whenever i’m offically late because it’s getting a little expensive buying all these tests

@Chanel87: I’m only newly TTC so I can’t really comment on how many times I test but I know I”m going to want to test A LOT especially in the beginning so I just bought 50 hpts off ebay for $10. They may not be as good as the ones from the chemist but they will do for the days leading up to my period and then once I’m late I will use one of the FRER to test.

@Chanel87: DH bought a two pack & I bought a three pack. I used two the first months, one the second month, one the third month… I’m only gonna test when I’m officially late from now on!

My first month I bought like 6 and obsessively tested from 9-14DPO. Thank goodness I didn’t need anymore cause we got it first try, that would have been expensive!!

I bought some each month the first couple months of NTNP..then I ended up ording a huge pack of the internet cheapies with the OPK’s…so I didn’t feel so bad whenever I gave into the urge to test, but most months I just waited to see if I would be late, which i never was…. But the month I got my BFP on a wondfo, I did wait util I was officially a day or two late….at that point I ran out and got frers, digi’s, etc.

I have like 3 dollar store ones… Somewhere… Probably still in a box, in storage, from our move last month… I only really buy them if my period is late, like last month 🙁 I don’t really like testing cuz BFN’s bring me down…

Here is 25 Wondfo tests for $15.50. I’ve bought more than I care to count. They do a really good job. However, dont listen to the directions that say results after 5 mins are invalid. SOmetime really early on, it will take more time for the line to show up. It could just be a false positive, but in my experience, it’s not.
