I don't really like "plain" bras (most of what comes in my size and is plain is also full-coverage, which I don't need), so almost all of them are lacy. I have some plain cotton undies, but I save those for AF. I've gotten so used to wearing pretty things every day that I don't think anything of it. DH isn't a lingerie guy, either, so it's not like I'm making the nice stuff less special by wearing it every day. DH prefers simple things--like a plain slip or t-shirt and panties. He's easy to please, but it's frustrating sometimes because I like the pretty things. :P
Yay for feeling sexy!
This may be TMI, but I dress up for FI all the time, at least once a week. Except I don't usually wear lingerie; although I have some and he doesn't mind it, it's not his favourite. When I dress up I mean I "dress up"....picture slutty hallowe'en costumes, haha. I'll sometimes be dressed up when he gets home from work, or just during the day on a weekend, or sometimes I'll slip into something just before bed.

I have probably 6 babydoll pieces, but I hardly ever wear them. Mostly because I'm lazy, but also because I'm always FREEZING before we get started, and then I'm really not in the mood. I would love some sexy nighties, but I love my fleece pants way too much.
Rarely -- I never really saw the point of lingerie, since you're just going to take it off anyway. ;-)
However, I did a boudoir shoot a few weeks ago and I have to admit I had a lot of fun buying my "wardrobe" for it.
I think there are some super cute , sexy and pretty stuff out there!
I just can't bring myself to buy it if it just gets taken off ;)
I ocassionally where something, but I'm just getting into the swing of things with my husband so Im not sure if he is a big lingere fan or not.
I have quite a collection after my bachelorette party, so I try to spice it up once a week or so.
Does anyone else and their DH have a crazy different view of what is sexy? I love pretty, soft lingerie. A lot of my stuff is from VS. He ordered me a surprise and mailed it to me while he was out of town, and it was a crazy strappy weird thing. Not a fan.
I wear pretty things every day :) Now, I'm not talkin' crazy sexy things all the time... but I just don't own/buy plain bras or undies. And I've never liked sweat pants. FI would probably be shocked (and a little excited) to see me throw on a pair of sweats and one of his t-shirts but I just don't know if I could do it! Kudos to girls who can feel sexy in anything!
I buy things about once a month to suprise DH with, usually just a pretty bra and panty that I find inexpensively on ideeli or gilt. I prob wear them once every week or two just to remind him what a sexified 40 year old his wife is, LOL.
I wear pretty things most days. I have a few pairs of silly knickers (Wonder Woman mock Y-fronts etc) but mostly it's matching sets with coordinating suspenders (garters) and pretty stockings.
Yes, I even wear heels.
What's the point in all that grooming if you're just going to wear ugly undies?
Honestly maybe once a year. I am just so much happier in pj pants and one of FI's shirts lol. In the summer I will wear pj shorts and a tank top but thats about as good as it gets lol.
My bras & undies are always pretty. But I never really wear them once we are getting ready to do it. I take everything off. ;)
A couple times a month I dress up, more in the way that Juliepants describes... it's a little closer to a costume/outfit than just one item of lingerie, and like SpecialSundae, almost always involves a pair of heels.
But never at bedtime (I refuse to sleep in anything but my birthday suit unless I'm winter camping).

I suppose I should try being sexy every now and then. Lately, I've been so stinkin' cold that I wear sweats and a zip up hoodie. So hot, I know! haha
Never :) Not because I wouldn't but my husband prefers a white cotton tee shirt and noth much else. Works for me!
Idk...pretty bras and panties, maybe a few times a week on average, because it makes me feel sexy.
But lingerie like nighties and teddies...hardly ever. It's not that I don't like to but the opportunity doesn't rise often because before I can change from day clothes to night clothes, FI will carry me to bed and undress me for sex right away. One time he whined bcause I undressed myself - he really likes to take my clothes off and I guess it's just not the same if he's only removing underwear.
I have pretty undies and bras that I wear usually every day, just b/c I like pretty and it makes me feel better than when I'm wearing my AF cotton grannies. I LOVE when a new VS card comes in the mail for a free pair of panties, altho sometimes I feel guilty going in there just for my freebie.
I also have some cute babydolls and silky robes but I wear them more in the summer. In colder months I wear fleece pants and soft cozy tops.
I like to wear practical bras and underwear during the day (I hate if there are any lace bumps showing through my shirt or skirts), and I'm a nekkid sleeper (shhh!). Plus, I live with my sister, and he lives with his rents yet, so it's not like I can casually trot around in skimpy outfits without the mother of all awkwardness occuring. So I rock the pj pants I stole from him and some cozy tshirts for bed whenever other people are home.
I wear it fairly regularly and love it! I like getting all dressed up in something sexy. DH is a huge lingerie guy and loves when I wear it. He rarely asks me too, so I usually am surprising him in a little outfit or something new. He's bought me a few things in the past, but usually I am the one buying it as surprises for him.
I kind of gave up. I don't mean to be a Debbie Downer, but it just makes me feel like crap, because he never notices. The worst was when I went out and got this corset/underwear set, and when we got home from going out, I was wearing it in the bedroom, and he came in to get changed, went out to hang out with our room mate for a few minutes, then came back and went to sleep. I've actually told him that I think I could run around the house naked and he wouldn't pay attention.

Not so much anymore. I used to all of the time when we were in our LDR. Regular and under clothes. It's not that I've become comfortable.. I just can't afford new clothes and I've gained weight since he first met me. I was too skinny, then I was just right, and now I'm a little above average.
I wear "pretty things" most days, but I think "pretty things" is up to interpretation. I have lots of cute panties from Aerie and i'm not sure how many people would call them "pretty" (their lacy thongs are so comfy and they do them 7 for $25 often). I have been getting more into wearing matching panties and bras. As for pretty lingerie, I have plenty of that and when I'm not sick I wear it probably 1-2x a week
I am transitioning to more and more pretty bras and undies...I'd say about 2/3rds is fun stuff. DH's tastes run pretty simple, though...a cami and boyshorts and he's a happy camper!
@Mrs Grape: okay your guy sounds allot like mine! True story- SO and I had just moved in together, and were plainning a quite night in drinking and hanging out. I got out of the shower, put on some sweats and one of his army tees, no bra and wet hair in a messy pony tail. After a few shots and a round of rock band, he just reaches over and squeezes my boob- then looks at me all gooshy eyed and said I just made so many of his teen aged fantasys come true! (we're both in our 30s) He thinks the pretty things are hot, but if I really wanna get his motor going, jsut running around the house in an army tee and white socks is the best!
@Rachael432: I am so sorry you are going though this! We as women work so hard to be our best, its heart breaking when the one we do it for could care less ::hugs::
@Rachael432: You mentioning this reminded me of one time when I went out to the living area to see BF when he was watching a tv show wearing something I was certain would get his attention (stockings, garter belt, heels, double push up bra...) and a shrug. He carried on a conversation with me for a good few minutes without realizing anything. I actually had to point out my outfit to him. Thankfully it only happened the one time. I hope he gets his act together and starts noticing your sexy getups.
I only wear sexy things occasionally, since we're in a LDR at the moment. Plus, I live with my mother & sister at the moment and laudry is kind of a whoever needs to do it will grab everybody else's, so that could be awkward haha.
As my friends often say I "dress up" every day in fashionable clothing, heels, hair done, make up did etc. When I sleep I want to be comfy and casual.
I recently told my FI if he is willing to wear spandex bike shorts to bed every night then I will wear lingerie, that way we'll both be uncomfortable.
"pretty things" means something beyond just cute/lacy underwears to me! I always feel a little awkward, even though my SO loooooves it, and he loves to buy me pretty things. But I try to oblige every once in awhile! It would help to lose some weight, though, boost the confidence a little...
When it was actually warmer, I was wearing my pretty lingerie a couple nights a week. Now not so much since we don't turn the heat on very high. I'd rather not freeze than look cute! But I still usually wear pretty bras/panties often.
EVERYDAY! Yep... I try to put in the effort to at least put on something sexy EVERYDAY.
There are a few days here n' there (hello, Aunt Flo!) when I don't but all other days I do. 
I have pretty bras and underwear that I wear on a daily basis, but apart from a babydoll I bought as a costume piece for a show, I don't own any real sexy lingerie. I wear pretty panties just because I like them; DH would find me just as sexy in a paper bag as in a lace teddy so I don't bother wasting my money on something that wouldn't get a second glance and would just be on the floor in two seconds flat! LOL
my so and i have talked about getting me something for a few wks now but money is tight and were in a semi ldr. he thinks sexy is a cami and booty shorts. i know if his room mates can be convinced and i can get a sitter for our vday celebration i might get something special for that nigh. my sons father never cared about sexy stuff. now i need a confidance boost

For my bridal showers and personal gifts leading up the wedding I got a lot of lingerie. More than I definitely was able to wear on our honeymoon alone.
On our honeymoon, even though we didn't get to have sex as much as I had hoped, I still put on pretty night gowns, bras, and panties I had been gifted. It made me feel sexy, even though it was a small effort, and even if we didn't have sex it boosted my confidence a little.
Now that we've been home, I still find myself putting pretty things on most nights. I like feeling sexy for him and since mostly they are just simple cami-looking nightgowns that are short and have key-holes, it's not much effort.
