I drink coffee usually only once in the morning, but I hear it’s common for people to drink it throughout the day. How often and when do you drink coffee? Do you feel like it’s affecting your health or helping it?

I drink about 14 or so ounces of coffee every morning. If I drink it later than noon, I can’t sleep. Christmas Eve I had some coffee at like 11pm and was restless ALL NIGHT LONG. UGH.
I don’t think drinking it in the morning is helpful or harmful. It’s a nice warm treat…!

Usually twice a week as a treat. I don’t have a coffee maker, so I just pick up a cafe misto a couple times a week in the morning. I also don’t mind a drink in the afternoon, but usually not after 4 or so. It gets me jittery.
I don’t really feel any affect on my health.

I usually drink a cup in the morning, and a cup after dinner. If I don’t have my morning coffee I tend to feel sluggish. Drinking coffee after dinner, however, does not affect my sleep patterns.

I drink a cup a day. But every once in a while I’ll grab an extra cup when I get home from work to keep me going to get things done around the house.

I drink a cup or two in the morning, and often another one in the late afternoon to help me get to the gym.
A lot of research shows that caffeine helps you work out longer and stronger, and that is definitely my experience. I still sleep just fine with coffee in the afternoon. So I say it’s helpful to my life and health!!

Usually 2 cups a day, sometimes 3 if I didn’t sleep much the night before and need an extra cup in the morning. Possibly add a fourth if I’m doing a 24 hour call at the hospital (which is not that often thank goodness).
And no, normal coffee consumption is not bad for your health!

Yeah I usually just have it once a day, but sometimes I like to have more. I do use creamer but not a lot. There are so many mixed stories about coffee you never know if it’s good or bad!

@soontobewithhim: I drink coffee maybe once every few weeks. We always have coffee here in the office, but I dont want to depend on it in the mornings, so I will have one when im feeling really tired or really craving a yummy starbucks drink.
My coworker refills her coffee cup at least 5 times through out the day including when she leaves.

@khaleesi: I used to sometimes have to drink a lot of coffee when i was pulling 24 hour shifts at the hospital to! It sucks!

About 1x per week. Coffee doesn’t make me feel alert…actually unless I’m on a really full stomach it makes me feel kind of awful. But I love the taste of coffee with cream & sugar so I’ll often have some on the weekend.
For alertness, I’m more into a cup of black tea mid morning or in the afternoon. I have one on most work days.

I drink one keurig cup worth of coffee a day. I ocassionally will have an extra cup of coffee or tea if I’m having a really tiring day.
