So my nutritionist is like “let’s move you to 5 meals a day” after looking at my food log (i was eating at 8, 10, 1130, 330, 5, and 7….5pm and 7pm meals were broken up into pre-workout snack and post-workout snack instead of “dinner”). So we are retraining my body to balance blood sugars better b/c he thinks i’m hypoglycemic. Today I kept a food log. It looks like it always does, except I’m noticing how much hungrier I am today! When i was hungry, I drank some water or tea. If i was still hungry 15 min later, I had a small snack.
6am: coffee, 2oz museli and milk
815am: oatmeal, 10 almonds, 1 cup mango cubes
1030am: cherry pie lara bar
1130am: tempeh, veggie stirfry, half a pita
1pm: 7 fruit jelly candies (the last, i’m not buying anymore!)
330pm: yogurt (planned)
5pm: shrimp and veggie stir fry (planned)
745-845: gym (a new class called butts and gutts)
930pm: 4oz coconut Kefir drink (insert Blegh face here)
Does anybody else put this much food in their body?!?! I swear, I’m always hungry like this! Right now, my tummy is rumbling and I’m making it wait 15 minutes for its planned yogurt. I’m supposed to eat at 6, 8, 1130, 330, 5, and 930 (although Kefir’s not really a snack)
Anybody else an eating machine? My husband’s like “Uhh, sometimes i eat brekfast…..then i eat lunch and dinner….sometimes i forget to eat until 5pm”
At least it’s all healthy. My net caloric intake is still 1500, haha. Sigh!
