Just curious how often everyone makes their bed up.
I do not make the bed every morning because FI is usually still sleeping in it (lucky)
I finally made the bed this weekend after a few weeks and I just loved climbing into a made bed at the end of the day. I want to get FI in the routine of making the bed more often since he the last one out.
I make the bed after we wash the sheets or when people are coming over. That is it. :)
On the weekends. FI doesn't wake up until after I leave for work and he never makes the bed. It seems kinda pointless to make it at 6pm when I get home. The bed usually gets made on the weekends or whenever I change the sheets.

Only if people are coming over will i bother to make the bed. Even after washing the sheets and duvet and everything, I'll get the sheets on, comforter back in, and then just throw it on the bed.
Yep I'm another "after we wash the sheets & when people come over" girl :)
when i change the sheets, so about every other week. if my apartment had a washer and dryer, it would be a lot more frequent!

As for me . . . Never isn't on there, so I can't pick it :) My fiance does it!
Almost every day. I only don't do it if I am in a hurry or if I am sick/lazy.
We live in a small place, and it makes me feel like the house is more straightened up when the bed is made... so, for us, it's daily.
Whomever is last out of bed makes it!
@stacycats: We lucked out, I tell ya ;) I am the one who washes the sheets every week though!
I TRY to do it every day but it usually ends up getting made 2-3 days during the work week. I have more time on the weekends and I hate being in our room when it looks messy so its always made on Saturdays and Sundays.
Weekends only. I get out of bed at 6am...the last thing i want to do is make my bed when I'm just going to get into it again that night :). I usually tidy it up a little so it has fresh creases, but I wouldn't go so far as to say I make it.
Every day. SOMETIMES I make it in the morning but most of the time I leave it unmade so my dog can burrow himself under the covers while I'm getting ready. I always make it before I get into it because I can't stand getting under the covers when the bed hasn't been made! Everything is just too "sloppy" and out of place
Everyday!! If DH is up last, he makes it. It drives me crazy to go to bed in an unmade bed.
I make it if I know we have company coming that hasn't had the tour of the house yet.
Rarely - maybe 6 times a year. Even after I wash the sheets, the bed doesn't fully get made. I'd much rather climb into a pre-softened bed though - the crispness of freshly made bothers me.
I make the bed every day-much to my FIs mystification. I don't think it ever occurred to him to make a bed before I came along. I just don't like getting into an unmade bed and it drives me crazy to walk into the bedroom and see the bed in a mess. Plus, some days, at least I can say that is one thing that was accomplished.
Every single day. But that's because we live in a house with 4 other people, so if we want to have any sort of alone time at all, it's gotta happen in our bedroom. Add into that the fact that we don't have a dining table in the house so we eat 95% of our meals in our room on the bed, and the bed's gotta be made every day.
Never. Ever. FI does it. He’s really anal about the corners and shit.
I try to every morning...but sometimes im really lazy or in a hurry! I love getting into bed at night and the sheets are perfect and tight lol :)

Maybe I'm weird but I have to make the bed everyday or else it's not as comfortable when I get in it when it's messy. If I am running late, I might not make it that morning but I still need to pull the sheets taut, fluff the pillows and straighten the blankets before I lay in it for the night.
I guess I've gotten so used to making it everyday that I feel uncomfortable when it's messy.
Everyday. Whoever up last makes it, so week days it's my SO and weekends it's me.
Everyday sometimes multiple times a day if the kids mess it up. It's almost such a habit that I do it without even thinking.
I agree that the bed isn't comfortable if it isn't neat.
Same as @daydreamwanderer: I never make ours but DH makes it usually on the weekend and maybe on days he's off and he's cleaning.
Of course, I do make it when someone is coming over.
Every day. I don't like sleeping in a bed that hasn't been made, so I've been known to make the bed an hour before getting back in it. There is something about an unmade bed that just feels strange to me.
I make it everyday, just not every morning. DH works overnight, so he is just getting into bed as I am leaving for work. I do always make it when he wakes up though!

Even if I made it every day my wonderful son and cat would joyfully unmake it for me anyway.
Never! :-) The rare exception is when I do the laundry and have the time to re-make it, but usually I just put them back on the bed right before I go to sleep, so there's never a fully made bed. FI will actually make his bed with me IN it yet if I sleep in too late, so at least I know it will be covered at our house once we're married. Agree with you, @SoontobeMrsA:.
I barely unmake to crawl in so I just fix the comforter every morning before heading out. I share a small room with another girl so I let her be the messy side.
FH NEVER makes his bed unless company is coming. This will change when we share an apartment.
