How often do you bees wear your engagement ring and wedding band together?
Fi and I are looking for ours, and due to the shape of my engagement ring, I was told to get a curved wedding band. However I have the feeling Id eventually want to just wear the band or be able to wear it solo without it looking weird — and a curved one looks off to me on its own.
My engagement ring isn’t so massive that it would be bad to wear all the time but for sake of keeping it safe, considering finding a band I could wear solo if I wanted to.
How often do you pair yours together or not?

Most women I know will wear both bands together. There have been a few exceptions, like women who work in healthcare. ,y sister can’t wear her engagement ring with gloves, but her wedding band is fine. So at work, she just wears her wedding band, but at home, weekends, evenings, or anytime she isn’t at work, she will wear both.
When I was a kid, most women would solder their rings together. Seems this a less common these days, perhaps due to mix and matching/stacking?

I switch a lot. Most days I only wear a band (or two!) but if I’m going out I’ll wear my engagement ring too.

I currently have a curved band with my set. I too think it looks odd alone, so have been thinking of having a rhr made that could double as an anniversary ring to wear solo on my left hand. Like a 3 stone ring or a eternity band.

Haven’t gotten my wedding band yet, but it’s also curved like yours. I love it so much though, I can’t imagine ever NOT wearing it though! Plus my fiancé spent so much time and money getting it all *just* right .. How could I just leave it in a drawer somewhere? Just my opinion though!

I have never worn either without each. My wedding band is curved and goes so well with my engagement ring so always together

I always wear them together. I’ve never worn my wedding band without my engagement ring. I’ll probably actually get them soldered together eventually.

I wear mine together all the time. I never wear them separately.

I wear mine together everyday.

I always wear my set together. What does your e-ring look like? The recommended wedding band for my e-ring was also curved, but I went with a regular one instead.

I wear my engagement ring all day every day and I wear my wedding band maybe 30-40% of the time. My band rubs against my ering, but I didn’t want a curved band and I didn’t want to solder my rings together. I also don’t like how a spacer looks with my set, so when I wear both rings, I paint a coat of clear polish on the one prong. The polish lasts a few days before falling off so I’ll take off my band until I feel like painting it again. It’s been a pretty awesome solution.

sunshadebride : I would disagree with most of the PPs. I’m newly engaged and don’t plan on wearing my e-ring daily for the long term. I would say probably about 2/3 yrs out and stick to a stacking set. I’d get a band that doesn’t necessarily match your e-ring to do so. I’m thinking I’ll add for “push presents” or anniversaries. I feel it’s a more progressive trend
