Hi ladies,
Recently the giant asked me if I would still wear make-up after we have kids. My answer was yes, as long as he watches them for the 10-15 minutes so I can.
This got me thinking. How often do you bees wear makeup around your honey?
I'll answer first: I wear make-up on the weekends for sure but not always. During the week, only if I'm meeting up with a group of friends.
I said "social occasions" but that's not exactly true. There wasn't an option for me really. I'll go through spurts of wearing it every day but then not put any on for weeks.
But I always put some on if I'm going out or having people over (like actually going out, not just running to the store or anything like that).
Never. I own makeup (lots of it, actually) and I've worn it my fair share of times but I sort of think it makes me look ridiculous now. I've yet to find a shade of foundation that matches my skin tone and I have sentitive eyes so mascara doesn't last long. I wear it if I'm attending a wedding or something formal but almost never for anything else.
I'll put some on when I'm dressing up, but most days I wear nothing except mascara, if I'm even feeling that ambitious. :-)
Everyday during the week. It's part of my morning getting ready for work routine. The weekends I won't put any on if I'm planning a day on the couch. :)
I wear makeup everyday, but don't wear a lot of it. Basically, just a little powder, mascara, and eyeliner on the weekdays before work. I do love it though! I love taking my time to apply it really nicely on the weekends.
I said social occasions..I only wear it to my internship! I don't bother any other time. I use Bare Minerals, so it's relatively quick and easy, but..it was so expensive I hate to use it when I don't have to! LOL.
Very rarely, I usually only wear powder, eyeshadow, and lipgloss on special occasions. I think I wore lipstick when my FI and I got engaged.
I would put myself in the very rarely category. I only wear makeup when I go out with friends or a really nice party. This past year, I put make up on about 5 times.
I use to wear it every stinkin' day. I will try to have natural days but by 10am I get sick of walking by the mirror and looking poopy.
After I had my son it got harder to constantly wear it so I'll go about 2 days a week without make up. It lets my skin breath which is fine. I just like how I look better with it on. It's also something I like to do...its like an art to me.
I wear makeup pretty much all day, everyday. Sometimes I won't if I know I'm not going to be doing anything or going anywhere that day. It feels sooo good not to wear it sometimes.
I find that if I don't wear it in the mornings I feel super tired until I put it on.????? After I put some on I'm wide awake! Weird.....
I rarely wear make up, or do my hair for that matter. I am trying something new to get me out of my rut, which includes styling my hair a different way, dressing nicer than I usually do and wearing make up everyday for 30 days. We'll see how that goes.

I wear it pretty much every day. It's just part of my getting ready routine.
every weekday (work) and then if i'm going anywhere special i will on the weekends too.
I wear make-up "everyday" but it's just eye-liner. I'd say whenever I have the time or it matches my outfit, our I actually think about how I look, I will put on some eye shadow. If I look super pale, I may put on blush. All in all, I don't particularly care that much about how I look and I think I look just great without makeup!
I wear it on the weekend, so usually Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Sometimes during the week if I have time in the morning before work.
I wear it everyday it's part of my morning routine. I usually skip it on Sundays when I'm chillaxing at home though. lol
Usually when I go to work or when DH and I go out somewhere nice. However, not usually just around the house to chill.
Everyday, except for sundays if I am not going anywhere. I don;t wear a ton, usually just mascara, concealer and blush for everyday wear, but I seriously feel like a troll without it. I envy those who could live sans makeup :)
Pretty much never - for a wedding or an important night out I'll do some smokey eye action and maybe powder...but thats about it.
Bees who wear glasses, do you think this affects your answer re: makeup? I wear my glasses at probably a 10-1 ratio with contacts, cause they irritate my eyes. But when i wear contacts I feel compelled to wear makeup, cause my face looks kinda....empty.
I put it on whenever I want to feel pretty or for social occasions or for work.
I wear glasses about 80% of the time, and I wear makeup no matter what. I just think I look ugly without it!
I am too lazy. I have to be in the mood or going somewhere where I care what I look like.
I said everyday, but I won't put it on until i'm leaving the house and I don't wear all that much. I do my eyes all nice with shadow, liner, mascara and concealer for the dark circles, but I never wear foundation or lipstick.
If I'm walking out the front door or someone other than DH is coming in through it, I have make up on.
I sometimes think I would really like to be one of those people who wears make up every day but it's just not me. Occasionally if we're going out, I may throw on some mascara and perhaps a bit of powder if it's a hot day, but I can't even be bothered to do that all the time. On the rare, very rare, occasion, I will do full eyeshadow, eyeliner, bronzer, mascara and lip gloss (never lipstick!), but that's the very odd occasion.
FI prefers me without make up - probably because that's all he's ever known! On a different note though, I do take very good care of my skin - toner, moisturizer, eye cream etc every day, so maybe that takes the place of a make up routine! :-)
Definitely every day! Though ironically i'm not wearing any today, since I've spent the whole day at home doing last minute wedding stuff
I usually wear it during the week when I go to work, and on Sundays when I go to church. But I only wear eye shadow, mascara, and eye liner. So usually by the end of the day, everything is gone. I love lazy days when I don't put anything on. It's so freeing, especially since my contacts have been bothering me recently!
Don't mean to sound vain but I think I look pretty good fresh faced. I usually only wear makeup on special occasions and sometimes on a date night if I feel like "prettying up" a bit more.
Only if I go out somewhere special.. . I'm just too lazy and I *always* over sleep so I'm not going to waste anymore time with make up.
all day erry day. i cut out foundation and all that fun stuff in the summer though
Almost every single day. Definitely every day I go to work. I wear it on the weekends too if we are out. The only time I don't wear it is if I am not leaving the house.
My makeup routine - foundation, powder, blush, highlighter, shadow, liner, curl eyelashes, and mascara takes less than 10 minutes though!
Make-up? What's that?
Seriously, I only know how to wear lipstick (duh) and fingernail polish. I know NOTHING about how to wear make-up! (yet I love to dress up and do fancy stuff with my hair. go figure)
@tinlizzleizzle: Good luck in your goal! I find that when I'm in a rut, I'm not making myself pretty... so I start making myself pretty (like wearing nicer clothes and doing my make-up every day) and it makes me feel a lot better.
@ScarletBegonia: I must be wearing my glasses if I'm not wearing make-up. I feel like my face has a shield against the world when I'm wearing glasses.

6 days per wk. If I work 7 days that week, then I wear makeup all 7 days. It makes me feel more put together and presentable. I have really great skin and a natural tan, so I don't look bad without it, I just like completing my professional look with a little make up.
Every day. It takes less than 5 minutes for my routine makeup (for work/ school) though: SPF 15 moisturizer, blush, eye shadow, eyeliner and mascara and curl eyelashes. I'm naturally super pale and look really washed out without any makeup.
i wear makeup everyday - not heavy/a lot though. i never wear foundation on my whole face. my routine is undereye concealer, blush, eyeliner, shadow, curled eyelashes, mascara, chapstick, done!
Daily, but not sun up to sun down. I will go a few days here and there without it, on weekends and a few weeks ago when I had a sunburn and eye infection at the same time.
