My b/f goes like two and three days without showering. I have to tell him your showering tonite and he says I was going to anyway. I'm like yeah right. I told he when we get married don't even think about having sex with me and you haven't showered that day. He was like of courses not, yeah sure like I believed him. I guess not showering for days is a guy thing but how do they think we like it? His male cousins are like it's a guy thing. I was like yeah ok but you don't have to sleep with him and nite and smell that lol. How long does your SO go without showering?
My fiance loves to shower -I'm the one who will go a day (no more) without doing it. But men sweat more and often have lots of hair in areas we dont. They NEED to shower daily.
He showers everyday. Usually twice a day because he plays and coaches baseball most of the year.
I'm guilty of skipping a day of showering....I can easily skip a day (shower on, say, Sunday, then again on Tuesday) if i don't work out. I don't see how I get all nasty and grody sitting at a desk in an air conditioned office all day. And it's not like i don't at least change my underwear
my sense of smell is very keen. I asked my mom once if she just had coffee and she said that she did 8 hours ago! my guy showers every day during the week...the weekend is another thing. b/c I can smell a fart next door I usually ask him nicely to shower...maybe try to shower together?!
Typically he'll shower twice a day. I shower once a day, but I don't have any problems with skipping a shower over the weekend.
My husband showers every day. He's always been the "clean kid" though, even as a kid his mom tells me :)
Every day sometimes 2x's. I have a really sensitive nose so thank GOD he does.
My husband showers every day. I would not let him go to work stinky.
My FI showers everyday sometimes 2 times. Every once in awhile he may skip a day on weekends and that it is only if he is laying around doing nothing.

everyday for my husband. His job basically makes it necessary. He might skip a day on the weekend if we've just been home all day doing nothing though, but never longer than that. I occasionally skips days also if I haven't gotten all sweaty and am tired or something.
My FH showers at least once a day. I even shower if I just sit around the house all day (I feel funny if I don't).
My BF doesn't shower everyday. Most days he does but sometimes when he wakes up late, he'll just wet his hair and wash his face. I don't know how he does that. I can go 2-3 days without washing my hair, but I have to shower everyday.
he showers once a day - every morning. i actually take a bath every night though - i'm not a morning person so I take my nightly bath and shower only on the weekends.
My FI LOVES baths!! He takes like 2 min everyday!! sometimes 3 I kno right? His way of relaxing!! I shower everyday!! But if Im not going anywhere on the weekends I can go a day without showering! Not more than 1 day tho!
This is so funny! My FI showers every day on the weekdays. If he doesn't go out all weekend, he will not shower on Sat/Sun. By Sun he is a viking- and I let him know it.
My SO showers at least once a day, twice if he's gone to work, and sometimes even three times if we woke up and showered, worked, and then went to the gym after dinner or something.
Daily, he works out a lot and is very clean in general. But another reason is because he works at a recycling plant, so he comes home smelling like garbage. He's always showered daily though.
Right now, I live alone so sometimes I don't shower on my day off if I'm not going out at all, but I realize I'm kind of gross so if I'm going to be around other people, I definitely shower! My FI is the same way. He has great hygiene - I have to say, I have known him since 1996 and I have NEVER smelled his B.O. That is something.
Mostly everyday, unless we are having a lazy day at home, then it doesn't happen.
The boy actually showers more often than I do. He'll never skip a day. I'll skip a day here or there if it's the weekend and I have no plans, or if I wake up late on a weekday.
Like ejs said, sitting at a desk all day doesn't make me sweaty or dirty. I rarely skip days in the summer, though.
I understand you. My FH showers ever other day or so. Unless he goes to the gym. Then I make him. He honestly never smells badly, or maybe I just like him.
This post makes me laugh. I am with you. My FI goes without showering for days sometimes. It's really strange bc it all the sudden started. He calls it "love" and that he is now really secure with me, but I don't think so. We have really busy schedules, however, I always find time to fit one in and he should too!
Ahhhh I am so jealous of all you ladies' clean men. My FI was an irregular showerer when I met him. I am a clean freak and my showers are ALWAYS 30 min+ each day. They're something I can't live without. I am CONSTANTLY nagging him about showering daily and usually takes the initiative to do it himself now. He's gotten a lot better about it since I met him, but there are still days when he's working all day and into the wee hours and says he's too tired to go shower--NO. No, I am not cuddling up to you at night when you're dirty and smelly and oily.
My FI showers daily - thank heavens. I am a zealous shower-er myself, and I actually think I rubbed off on him. I never asked him to shower, or recommended that he shower daily, but I know he used to only shower every-other-day, until we started dating.
When we first became a couple, he always used to tell me "you smell sooo nice...what is it?" my response: "Uh, soap?" I don't wear perfume, just the occasional scented lotion, I guess he picked up on the trend! Yay! :P
I thought I was alone in this and that it was just my b/f. It's nice to know that it isn't. I am gulity of skipping one too but only like on the weekends when I don't plan on doing anything. The strange thing is his mom said he wasn't always like this til like a year before we started dating. I just hope he gets better at it. Oh we don't shower together because we decided to stop having sex til were married so that's out.
He showers every day. Occasionally he'll skip a day on the weekend if we just spent the day veggin' but usually it happens daily.
I might skip a day once a week, or just skip washing my hair if i'm really short on time. I alternate hair days. My DH though - every day! He may miss 2 sundays a month. Those are rainy sundays that he can't go out running.
Teddy showers twice a day! once in the morning and once at night.
haha in one of rick steves europe books he says that after like 4 days you arent getting any worse lol. my hubby showers every day, but i sort of hate showering. i like being in there, but i don't like having my hair be wet and cold, or drying off. wow i am a whiner! I still shower before work every morning but i totally understand not wanting to!
My FI doesnt shower every single day but if he skips a day he definetly does the next day. We actually take most of our showers together. We dont get all sexual but we actually use "shower time" as a time to talk about our days and get something accomplished at the same time. Its fun and relaxing!!! Have your B/F try it with you!
He might end up wanting to shower all the time!!!! ;)
My boyfriend showers every day now that he has started a workout regimen. (P90x - it really works by the way!) Before that he would get pretty lazy about it and sometimes skip 2 days before showering again. It got weird...sometimes he could style his hair for work without products. Yep, just with his nasty hair oils.
Sometimes I am astounded by my tolerance of his grossness. lol
