Our flower girl is nine and our ring bearer is 4.  I think 2 1/2 is pretty young.  It is totally fine and will be adorable – but don’t have expectations of him following directions or walking down the aisle himself 🙂  Sure will make for some adorable pics though!

@Zsa_Zsa:  my nephew will be 2yrs 8mths at the time of my wedding. I think it depends on what style of wedding you’re having and what you’re expectations are. Be prepared that at that age they can be temperamental and refuse to participate if they feel intimidated by the strange surroundings and crowds. I’m having a laid back destination wedding so I’m fine with him flipping out/wandering off/breaking into dance, etc 🙂

Flower girl is 7 and ring bearer is 10.

2 might be too young, but whatevs! If he cooperates that’s great, if he doesn’t, just be prepared.

Our ring bearers–they’re twins!–will be 8, and our flower girl will be 9.

2 1/2 might be a bit young, but will be super adorable! Just be prepared for a toddler meltdown. My sister was a flower girl when she was 3…she needed to be bribed to get down the aisle lol

@Zsa_Zsa:  Our flower girl was 22 months. She had a little help, but did pretty well! It depends on the child- I think 2 1/2 should be ok?

Flower girl will just have turned 6 and her brother will be 8.

I really don’t know much about kids so I don’t know what a 2.5 year old can do.

Our flower girl was a little over 3, and our ring bearer was almost 9!

The flower girl did a better job than the ring bearer did!

@Zsa_Zsa:  I think as long as he has an older kid holding his hand then he should be fine. But if he’s walking alone, I wouldnt go in with high expectations.

@Zsa_Zsa:  I think kids that young add so much character to a ceremony! A friend of mine had her 2 year old godson as the ring bearer, and he was so cute.  He walked about halfway down the aisle, saw his mom and ran to her. It was super cute. Our ring bearers will be 5 and 7 and flower girls will be 10
