I’m thinking of having my cousins stand up in my wedding. Due to the large age gap between my dad and his siblings, they are in their mid to late forties, but have a sort of ‘cousin’ relationship with me. They are more friends than say, aunts, and what I think to be bm’s. Is this okay?

There is no age restriction on BMs! If these are the ladies you want standing next to you, then they’re perfect, and their age shouldn’t matter at all!

Agreed! Age doesn’t matter.

@morkiemama: Thanks. I knew it was my choice, but I just wanted reassurance.

@AshAshAshlynn: Go with whatever you like! I would rather have people I’m close with than a friend that is closer to my age because it seems to be ‘the thing to do’. 🙂

One episode of My Fair Wedding the girl had her aunt or grandma standing up and she was in her 60’s.
