Ask her if she wants to do it. If she wants to, you're good! If she is turned off by the idea, skip it.
Maybe call it something else...not flower girl....it may come across more appealing
I don't think it's silly. She's your daughter and it's your wedding 11 should be fine. I think as long as she's not a teenager you're good. My flower girls--I have 4 of them are ages 2-5 yrs old. I have 5 jr bridesmaids 13-7 yrs old.

I am wondering if 11 is to old for a flower girl..My daughter just turned 11 and I would love for her to be my flower girl but wondering if she is to old. I am gonna have her carry down a beautiful pomander (not like she will be carrying down a basket ya know lol) Just wondering if that will be sily????
