I’m 30, and I started getting greys earlier this year – maybe earlier! I’ve been blonde for many years, so maybe they were there long ago and the blonde disguised them. I’ve gone darker because I was sick of going the the hairdressers every 4-6 weeks, so they stand out a lot more now, was just looking before and they’re cropping up everywhere. When did you start getting yours (if you have them)?

I was 16! I’ve been dying my hair ever since. My aunt was completely gray when she graduated HS!

I was 14 when I got my first one. Started getting more about 16, and now I’m 26 and I’m starting to get quite the salt and pepper effect in my temples and roots if I don’t regularly dye it. My hair is naturally black, so they really pop.

A friend of mine had a shock of grey hair in the 7th grade! My FH went to school with a girl who had grey throughout her hair in her early 20s. I started getting grey hair at 25. I color my hair with Natural Instincts and pluck the few grey hairs that survive the dye.

I was in my early 20’s! I was shocked!

I was 29 when I got my first ones. I’m 30 now. Because my hair is red, they are not grey, they are completely white! I get my fiance to pull out the “traitors”! So far this is working as there are not many

I was pretty young, 13 it was only a few strands though. Had a few more at around 16 and been dying my hair since.

I’d say the last two years (I’m going to be 29 next month). I’ve noticed a few greys at my roots. Nobody else notices them, but I’m naturally blonde so they are easily disguised.

Found a few stark white ones (on my brunette head, what the heck!) at 19.

About 15, although it really accelerated between 22-25. I’ve always dyed my hair, but it’s really noticeable now when I haven’t for a while and I’m only 26!
My mom was almost completely grey by 30 though, so I’ve always known it was going to play out like this.
