No..I promise it's going to fly. I'm almost 3 months out and I look back and think-6 months ago felt like YESTERDAY!! it's insane how fast it goes!!!
LOL! That's what I said about October! And now it's coming WAAAY to quick!
I won't lie to you. I think time will fly by and it will be here before you know it!!!
We are getting married in March and I am freaking out, even though I have a lot of stuff done :-/
God I hope so. Like the OP, I'd like to just go to the courthouse and call it a day at least 4 times a week! I just wanna get married!
I really think that the time will start to fly by, especially after the holidays.
I feel so horrid, but I just for the life of me can not peel myself off this site to snuggle with FH :/
I really do feel like yesterday was the year mark...now we are at 6 months!! It will be here before you know it. Right now I am just trying to enjoy being engaged!
I agree with Miss Elephant - after the holidays the time is going to FLY by! I am always so busy from the beginning of Dec until mid January just doing family stuff, Christmas parties etc that before we know it we will be 2-3 months away!
I've decided time really is relative & it's based on your age. Remember when you were little & Christmas or your birthday took forever to get here?
The older you get, the faster time goes by, I swear.
I think it will get here quick, fast, and in a hurry. I don't know about you other April 2011 but I am knee deep in DIY projects already. The holidays are right around the corner. Then, it is time for bridal showers and dress fittings and it will all be down heel from there!!
I really really really hope so! I'm already signing credit card slips and the like with my soon to be married name, as practice. If I could change my name right now I would! (My signature is totally illegible anyway, so it doesn't really matter.)
@ legallyspoiled You are so right! I am up to my eyeballs in tissue pomanders for our centrepieces at the moment, and still barely even halfway though making them (9/24 complete so far!), and Thanksgiving is THIS THURSDAY, yikes!
Has anyone else noticed how as soon as you hit the 6-month mark, everyone suddenly takes an interest and all you get is, "ooohh not long now, how are the preparations?" ??? I just want to yell, "I KNOW, PLEASE STOP REMINDING ME! Can somebody please slow down time for me to get all these things DONE!?" ;-)
Four months exactly next Friday. All I've got left to do is rings, find someone to do my hair, invitations and getting together a play list. Not NEARLY enough to keep me busy for four whole months! Gah! Time go quicker, please!
I haven't done shit for this wedding, I'm serious. No paper, no defined menu. Nothing. I have a dress, venue sites, officiant, photographer (one I'm not thrilled about, but oh well), rings, a fiance and that's it. I feel like those are the major things. I've decided, in the interest of saving money, I will just go out and get hair/make up done so I need to make that appointment. I have alterarions in January
