It's your wedding - I think anything would work! I have to say that in the weddings I've been to so far, I've noticed it's not about what colors your choose but how you incorporate them in your wedding. Nvy blue, dark brown and white are great - seems very sophisticated and nautical. Is that the kind of feel you want? Perhaps a lighter taupe can play up the navy blue a little.
I think it would be nice if you incorporated a color from the red-pink-orange-yellow end of the spectrum to give the navy and brown a little more contrast (although white may also serve this purpose). A goldenrod shade of yellow would look really classy and would open up your decorating options, especially when it comes to flowers. But it's your wedding, go with what you love!

We r going back and forth as to when we will be married next year, but in the mean time I was wondering what everyone thought about these colors.... navy blue, dark brwn and a little white
