I am new on here and I loooove looking at everone’s ring! I changed the head on my ring to a bezel which I am very happy with. My question is how do I slightly change the look of my ring to give it more character? I don’t know if I’m explaining it right, but when I look at it, it seems like it needs something because it has a lot of medal showing and I want to make it a little more feminine. I don’t know if I should have filigree or something like that done to it?? What do you think?? (Sorry, my ring needs to be cleaned!)

What about some delicate milgrain?

I think it is lovely and very feminine! It already has a lot of small diamonds, so I wouldn’t add any more small detail or it will just add pattern, which it doesn’t need. Honestly, I wouldn’t change anything (unless of course you want to put a big honkin’ diamond in the middle, but I would say that about any ring ).

I agree with msformaldehyde:! Milgrain would be a great way to soften the look of all the metal, without altering the design too much.

Milgrain would look great on your ring!..

Thanks ladies! I am just a little skeptical to do anything because once they add something like that to it, there’s no going back. @RunnberBride13 I would not be opposed to that 😉

RunnerBride13: Agree! OP your ring is gorgeous and feminine!

I would perhaps change the setting? bezels also tend to not be as sparkly as they dont let as much light in as a different prong

I would maybe add more soft touchs with your wedding band your ring is very pretty but has a lot of detail anymore might make it busy !!! IMO if you wanna add to ering i would maybe add to the shank like milgrain Or,something..Honestly Your ring doesnt need anything its very pretty !!!! May I ask why you changed to a bezel setting??

mrstattoo10816: I changed to a bezel because with a prong head the center diamond didn’t stand out from the halo. When I looked at the ring, all of the diamonds just blended together. I wanted the center to stand out. I tried a taller head and it caught on everything. I even tried blue sapphires on either side and it was pretty but didn’t give the effect I wanted. The ring was more of an impulse buy. He propsed and I was so excited that I think I settled on the quickest one we could get. I tried to exchange it, but the local jeweler we got it from wouldn’t let us because they had to size it for me. Sorry for the long answer 🙂

I agree with the miligrain idea. And when you choose a wedding band, go for something dainty.
