if "one kiss" is not referring to a body of work (song, poem, book, etc). I don' think you should capitalize O or K. My personal preferece is also to have dates written as 3.13.2010 or 3.13.10 rather than using slashes. Slashes give me the impression of office documents.
I like "one kiss 3.13.10" too but I also tend to use periods instead of slashes whenever I can. :-)
It may depend on where you're having it engraved. One place I was looking at online (where I almost ordered our rings) used all caps only.
I kind of agree with pren79--skip the slashes. I'd do ONE KISS 3-13-2010 (all caps... but that's personal preference for engraving... better when things are uniform height!). I'd like the year written out.
I like One Kiss 03.10.2010 or even One Kiss 03-10-2010
(You don't have to use 0's before the 3 but I like it that way)
Okay so I need to decide between all caps, some caps, no caps; and slashes, dots, dashes; and whole year or partial year...
This is complicated. I think I like dots...or dashes *sigh*
Oh no! I'm sure whatever you pick will be fine. :) They all look good!
I say all lower case:
one kiss 3.13.2010
- but if they can do the "dot" in the center (vertically, not low at the bottom), it'd be even better. :)
Ooh I like that, dot in the center.
Edit: In fact, I think I like that whole thing, with all of the letters lower case. Now I just need to find out what type of lettering the place has that I'm getting it engraved at. Too many decisions.
I'd go with One kiss 3/13/10 or One kiss 3-13-10. I think the O should be a capital because it is starting something.
I like the 3.13.10 idea, I always do my dates like that now, but I never thought about using that for a ring engraving.
No capitalization is necessary, so my vote is definitely for one kiss 3.13.10
i definitely agree that i like the dots instead of the slashes. one kiss . 03.13.10
Yes I like the dots too. I received the ring yesterday (ordered friday, so VERY fast shipping) but I don't think I'm going to have it engraved until closer to the wedding because I am impatient and want to give it to him when he comes tomorrow night.
Thanks everyone for your posts. I read this and it inspired me to get Mr. LuLu's ring. :) I got 9.19.09 engraved in a simple font kinda like arial. It's perfect. :)
Thanks samisomsam and carri!
I like "One Kiss 03.13.10" or "One Kiss III XIII MMX" or "One Kiss 03.13.2010" :)

I ordered FI's ring and when it comes in I am going to have it engraved. I have a couple of possibilities on how to word this. The differences are really subtle, and won't matter when it's on his finger, but we'll know what it says.
