We had an amazing wedding! The staff at the venue went WAY above and beyond to make the evening perfect. I’d like to thank the coordinator and staff in a special way. Obviously, a tip is the first thing that comes to mind. Gratuity was including in our grand total already, so I was thinking of sending flowers or an Edible Arrangement? Any other ideas?

An edible arrangement would be sweet. I’m sure they will be excited and grateful for anything you send! That is really thoughtful of you!

An edible arrangement’s a cute idea (who doesn’t love chocolate covered strawberries!) Write a letter to the venue’s general manager about the staff- the owners should know what a great experience you had. And write glowing reviews on wedding wire, etc. 🙂

If it’s a venue that is normally used as a venue (as opposed to something like someone’s private home, an art gallery, a winery, and so forth) then a tip really would be the most appropriate way to show your thanks. Venue event staff is not always scheduled to work on the same days or work together as a crew and so forth; say you send your edible arrangement to be delivered on a Thursday. Maybe only three guys from your crew are actually there! There is a ton of other staff setting up for other events and they enjoy your treat. But the people who really made a difference aren’t guaranteed to get a treat themselves. A tip can be divided by the shift leader or venue manager and a share given to each person who actually worked your event.

Besides a tip, I’d say the best way you can show your gratitude is by spreading the word. Drum up more business for them by leaving good reviews so other brides book with them.

I agree with @rebwana- let the venue’s owner/general manager know how satisfied you were with everyone, if you can give specific names even better. And get those reviews going up on every website you can! 🙂 And an edible arrangement I’m sure would be well received! I know as a former venue day-of manager myself that anything positive we heard after the day made us so happy- if we had gotten something like an edible arrangement we would have been giddy, lol! Just check to see about the days the coordinator works there and send it on that day- coordinators/day of managers don’t always work at the venue every day of the week. Other than that- I’m glad you had a fantastic day!!! 🙂

Tip Tip Hooray! Plus glowing reviews and a letter. Flowers would be nice, but they are going to go into the office and not be enjoyed by the servers.
