I came off BC in December and I was horribly sick so we didn’t even try much. January was our lucky month. So 2 cycles.

We started trying in March and got my positive in April. I thought it would take longer after coming off birth control but…nope.

MechEBee:  sounds like me this time last year! We DTD June 9 and I got a BFP June 22nd (the day my period was due). I’m sure had I tested a few days before that those two lines would hve been there. Good luck!

We were VERY lucky……1 cycle! I have been on BC for years and figured I’d need several months to regulate again and hopefully no issues (Im 33). We planned on TTC starting june/july and I went off the pill in April. I had a 40 day cycle going into may and we were not TTC during that time. I got my first period May 15th and my plan was to BD every second day starting like…4-5 days after my period stopped until I got my temp spike…maybe one or 2 after just for good measure lol.

Sure enough I spiked on June 2nd but didnt have a lot of other signs (I didnt get a lot of CM) and on 9DPO I randomly tested for fun and I got my first BFP….I tested again a like 6 times over the next few days (up until this past friday) and all positive. Just went in to have my blood drawn today 😀

Now I just have to pray its a ***sticky baby*** so far so good

We were not TTC (yet).  But I went off my BCP a few months before our wedding and got pregnant a few weeks later.  It could be the first month or it could take awhile…you really never know.  I was on BCP for a long long time.

I was on BCP for about 11 years. Stopped taking it at the end of Nov. Used condoms in Dec. Pregnant in January. The women in my family are pretty fertile, so I say genetics had a hand, but I also think I had a boost from having just stopped taking BCP. It can create crazy cycles for some women, but can also act as a fertility booster for others who start TTC right after coming off it. Obviously I can’t compare it to another experience, but I wonder if I had waited longer to regulate if I would have conceived so quickly. We were very lucky and thankful for it. Currently 23 weeks.
