I got sick to my stomach, never throwing up thought or anything really bad, a couple days before I found out.
I really didn't experience nausea until about 7 or 8 weeks. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks. But keep in mind, everyone is different :)
I did at 5 weeks (about a week after BFP)...but it turns out it was actually 6 weeks...ovulated early that month.
My SIL got nauseous like the next day after she got pregnant (I tend to think that she ovulated earlier than the 14 days assumed). She's hypersensitive to pregnancy in general, and she was sick pretty much non-stop in the first 14 weeks. So it's possible!
I got sick about 2 months out. Got carsick alot. Wierd thing was, if I flew in a plane (we'd done some travelling early on in the pregnancy, up until month 5) I was fine.
But go slowly in a car? I'd ralph all the time. If I drove faster than say 55 mph, I was fine. Just slow driving made me sick.
I felt great until about 6-7 weeks, and then all of a sudden it came on....
yeah...i'm wondering this too...had two bouts of nausea today but i'm only a day late...
I'm two weeks away from my wedding and I just got off the phone with my DOC, I could puke! There are so many things I didn't even think of!!!!
I felt sick several days before my missed period... and then stayed sick for months, ugh. I experienced the worst of it in weeks 4-8 though, and then it began to lighten up a bit. I actually just started feeling sick again in the mornings and I'm just about 34 weeks.
Oh man...I was sick almost the entire time. I even had to get anti-nausea pills on my honeymoon....
Just thought I'd update you all and say, that nausea was a sign! It came 1.5 weeks BEFORE my missed period but it was the real deal because I now have confirmed that I am pregnant (in 5th week I guess)! Like you said... everyone is different I guess! It hasn't happened again since then but I know it could come back any week now.
Congratulations, Weddingkitty!
Hey gals, I know I'm a little late on this post and you have your answer, but I asked my FI (who's an "almost" doc). I guess the nausea is caused by an increase in progesteron and usually improves by the 2nd trimester. The timing and intensity of nausea can vary from woman to woman and even pregnancy to pregnancy.
Something, too, that I've hear from a lot of women as being mistaken for morning sickness: taking a multivitamin on an empty stomach in the morning. Been there, had that panic attack. . .thank goodness for Dr. Fiance. It sounds dumb, but more common than we like to admit.
Congratulations to everyone on this board who's got a little one on the way! How exciting!

At my women's small group last night I started feeling dizzy and sick to my stomach and I had to run to the bathroom. After a few unpleasant moments, the feeling passed and I was pale but fine. The women were all abuzz and asking if I was pregnant. I would LOVE to be pregnant, and we are TTC, but Aunt Flo should still be like 10 days away. I don't think it's possible to have symptoms this soon and it's probably something else, but who knows? When did you first feel sick?
