My ob/gyn was happy to talk to me about fertility issues after 6 months of trying. That is only because I am over 30 and was charting/temping/opking. I don’t know of any that will talk to you before 6 months, some 12.

By your previous posts it looks like you just went off of BC. I think you should give your body 2-3 months to regulate drug free. Then carry in 6 good charts to your doctor. It took us 5 months of perfect timing to finally get our BFP.

Best wishes!! We’ll all be rooting for you!!

I have been activly ttc for 3 months and saw mine last week. (I also have pcos and have randomly seen her for years). It couldnt hurt to ask. The most that could happen is to be told to come back in 6 months.

If you have CF, I’m not sure how willing an RE would be to start you on fertility medication…. Do you have the mutation that qualified you to start Kaledyco?

Either way, I’m sure you could see an RE very early with CF…

My RE didn’t ask how long we’d been trying when we booked the consultation.  I did tell her during the appointment that I had not ovulated 2-3 months in a row.  There was definitely no judgement or unwillingness to treat us even though we’d only been trying for short time. I assume with your condition you’re looking to go to an RE for IUI, and I’m positive you shouldn’t have an issue getting that.  On the off chance the first doctor you see isn’t helpful, find another one.

@Future MrsB:  I second the whole “if the re isn’t being helpful try another “

i had a bad experience with the first doctor I went to. He told me there was nothing wrong with me. I was just fat and needed to lose weight. I was going to the gym 5 days a week and gaining weight.

We have been ttc for 4 months now and we have decided to talk to our md if nothing happens this month.  My md did say she will see us and discuss any concerns or issues we are having.  I think you should be fine to at least get an appointment to talk to yours about your concerns.  GL and i will keep my fingers crossed for you. 🙂

It never hurts to ask! My OB said to talk to her after 6 months since I have endo so I think if there is a already known condition that could hinder getting pregnant they will take it more seriously than someone else.
