I’m confused so you are having 4 centerpieces in 3 different sizes on two tables?  Maybe a poll would help on this one too.  And what is going in these vases?  Is something suppost to stick out the top?

Either way I think lower ones I’d say is best it reduces the chances that it will get knocked over.

ETA: Wait is is 2 centerpieces on 8 tables that are different from one another?

Just saw your updated OP.  Okay well if there is water involved then go with the shorter ones and are these long rectagular tables?  If so 2 centerpieces per table is probably fine.

@DevBrown05:  +1 is generally what someone does in response to a previous post that they agree with. If you want to “bump” the post so more people will see it,  you can just say bump. 

It sounds like those tables are pretty big, so I’d go with two sets of centerpieces per table of 16. However, with tables that big, people won’t be talking across the table, so I think the taller ones will be fine and not get in the way.
