@Laurenplusalex:  We are never ready to say goodbye to those we love. Your Grandpa has left you with great memories that will comfort you.

@Laurenplusalex:  Losing someone you love is difficult no matter how or when it happens. I lost my only close grandpa a year ago in March and it is still difficult sometimes. I am due to give birth to my first child right around the one year anniversary of his death and I struggle with knowing he will never meet my daughter. I just try to focus on all the wonderful memories he left me with and the comfort that he isn’t suffering anymore.

@Laurenplusalex:  Are you able to visit? If so,tell him how much he means to you. Share your memories of the time spent with him and thank him for the things he taught you. Do not be afraid to tell him you will miss him.

@Laurenplusalex:  Talk to him anyhow. No one knows what the dying are able to hear. You will never regret saying out loud how much he means to you.
