@angustia:  When I worked at a day spa, we would put slices of orange, apple and cucumber in the water.  It’s a light flavor, but it’s really refreshing.

I like keeping a pitcher of water in the fridge with strawberries sliced in it.  Yum!

Sliced lemons are really refreshing, plus kick start your metabolism in the morning 🙂 I have a 1litre bottle on my desk at work and I’ll slice half a lemon in the morning and keep refilling it during the day (I’m trying to drink a lot so I can run better,) and the lemons still give flavour after 2 or 3 goes. Mix it up with limes and oranges. I’ve seen people add sprigs of mint with the fruit for a little something extra. Doesn’t work for me but each to their own!

Also have you thought about carbonated water rather than just still? I find its got a completely different flavour

Have you tried flavored selzter water?

Almost any fruit juice can be used, just add a little bit to any water and it will be better than plain.

I was at a resort in Vegas and they did watermelon slices in the water- quite refreshing and a change from lemon:) Definitely best ice cold!

I know it is filled with lots of unnatural stuff, but Walmart or Target brand of Mio is great.  I use about a fourth of what the serving size is just to give it a little but of a kick (barely turns the water a different color).  I know it isn’t the healthiest thing in the world, but a little bit of artificiality is better than not drinking enoguh water (or so I figure!).

My newst addiction is Polar flavored seltzer water. Some great flavors, has natural flavorings, no sweetners of any kind and zero calories. I love these which is saying something because I HATE drinking water. My favs are Black Cherry, Mixed Berry and Boston Cream Pe!

I do love just plain water, but every once in a while, I use the dry powder grape G2 (or the store brand version).  I LOVE “artificial grape” flavor….but I dilute it (1 packet fo 32 oz rather than 16 oz).

But I also second the cukes in water … also very tasty!

I love lemon, lime, basil, cucumber, berries, and jalapeno.  Cucumber and jalapeno together is amazing.  I know it sounds weird, but try it!  Sparkling water is also good with flavorings.

@Ennie:  I love the Mio flavorings! It’s nice because it’s not a pre-measured amount in a packet, but it’s a liquid in a bottle. You can squirt as little or as much as you want in your water.
