@CantWaittillMAY: I think it would be a great way to end the night, but we have no idea how many people will even be staying the night! I wish there was a way to look into the future... I don't want to book a 25 person party bus and then no one uses it cause they get more expensive the more people you book of course...
Well, I guess you plan for the wedding party only to ride on the bus... ?? How soon would you have to book it? Could you wait for the head count before you booked he bus?
I attended a wedding once and the wedding site was about 40 minutes from the hotel where everyone was staying. They arranged for two buses to take anyone who didn't want to drive to the wedding and back to the hotel at the end of the night. It was awesome!
@CantWaittillMAY: That's what I'm hoping, that we can wait until we get a better idea of how many people will need transportation, but now that we're under 100 days I'm freaking that people will get booked quickly. I probably have nothing to worry about :)
@arenyth: HA! I do that too :)
I would call around to some bus/transportation companies and see what kind of lead time you need to give them. Maybe they only need a few weeks, you never know until you give them a call :)
There is nothing like a good party bus though - always a fun time!
We're hiring a bus to take everyone who wants a ride from the city to the manor house where the wedding is going to be. The drive is through a forest and I'm hoping it will be a fun, friendly atmosphere where people can get to know each other while driving through the beautiful countryside. At least that's what I'm picturing!
I haven't decided completely yet, but I think that when people rsvp for the wedding I'll just ask them to rsvp for wanting a ride at the same time. Or maybe I'll ask them after! Just haven't decided! @iheartnerds: did you have to rsvp for riding on the bus back from the wedding you went to?

I'm looking into possible transportation for our guests after the reception. The hotels we're going to book offer transportation for $10 more per room, but only if the entire block gets filled. So people will end up paying more money and then maybe they won't even get transportation. Can I hire a bus? Or a couple of taxis? Whats the best way to go about this? Thank ya bees!
