Sorry if that is totally overwhelming! I had so much fun looking around at these since I did the super cheesy phone call/text to ask my bridal party (before you gasp in horror....it was pre-Weddingbee days!!)
I found this great idea off of OnceWed. I spent a portion of my Winter Break to make these. It took a while to find a process that worked, but it was worth it. It didn't cost much, and they look cute!

Good Luck! :)
I ordered some cute, handmade cards from Etsy & got each of my girls a bridesmaid dress-shaped sugar cookie decorated with their name on it. They loved the cards & thought the cookies were delicious!
I love love love the idea from Once Wed, it sucks that I am the least crafty person I know.
i made those same ones from once wed @tynabee! i thought they were really cute and all the girls loved them!
i made each of the girls have a different dress style, just to spice things up a bit.
Great minds must think alike! I like how you personalized it more and made different dresses. I was struggling with different hair and took relief in the simple dresses. Haha! This was my first DIY project. Hopefully I improve!
I made a powerpoint presentation and sent it to my girls. Giving them my 'vows'...such as making them wear a gown with a big bow on the butt, never saying that they'll wear the dress again, going bridezilla on them. They got a good laugh out of it...and they all said yes
I did handmand cards with about 8 pages of our best memories together. On the last page I left a blank spot (for the wedding party photo) and wrote "will you be my bridesmaid?" That sure was cry-fest 09, let me tell you.
I also made little gift bags, mostly because I found these adorable wedding-theme bags on sale at TJMaxx. Filled it with useful/fun bridesmaid stuff :)
@tynabee - i know what you mean about the hair! i think i spent like 2 days on that part. lol.
here's my version of those bridesmaid cards.
Those turned out adorable! I love the detail to the shoes along with the dress and accessories. Wowza! You're BMs prolly had their minds blown and couldn't say no to an invite like that. Job very well done!
@LindsayJeff-I like the funny stuff you included in your powerpoint. I always find a giggle in thinking of a puffy sleeved, big-bowed, sea-foam green BM dress!
This is making me feel kind of bad about NOT doing anything! I didnt even think to do anything, it would have never occurred to me. I just asked each of my BMs either in person or I called them. 3 of my BMs were there the weekend I got engaged (because it was 2 of my FSILs and then my FIs cousin) and then when I got back my MOH took me out to congratulate me and I asked her then and then my other best friend I asked her in person and my other FSIL I called her and asked her. But all of these ideas are really cute and creative!
@Tynabee... is that you????? I thought I noticed some big blonde construction paper hair! :)
@Soon2beeMrs.V....you found me and now months later I realized it. Oy.
