I’m wanting a really great way to officially ask my two maids of honor and other bridesmaids to be a part of my wedding. I was hoping (if nothing else) to find a great, hopefully handmade card. Something kind of indie and less cheesy.
Of course, I’d also love to hear about a more outside-the-box way to ask.
Thanks so much!

I bought ring pops and "proposed" to my bridesmaids (who were all single at the time) that they be part of the wedding party .
I really wanted to propose to them because I told all of them that it was fine if they didn’t want to do it — whether it was for expenses, or time, or whatever…but they all said yes!
We have a hilarious ring picture with their pops and my ring 🙂

video yourself on your cellphone and send it to their cellphones – you’re sure to get a call back pronto!
singing telegram would be hilarious!
take them all to lunch as a group or individually and just ask??? or bettter yet – set up a "shopping date" at the bridal boutique and then say" well, we’re all here to look for your BM dresses!" (enter screams and shrieks of congrats!!)
if yuo normally burn CDs then make a CD with a bunch of "girly" songs and at the end of it – ask them??
make short slideshow of pics of you and BM from over they years you guys have been friends and then enter a blank square and caption it "Me and my BM (HER NAME) at my wedding" with a "will you?" after it???

I sent my bridesmaids each one of these lovely cards.
It’s blank inside, so I wrote an invitation to a party at my apartment. I made them a nice brunch with quiche, muffins, and of course mimosas, and everyone brought a little snack to share as well. They all got a chance to meet eachother and mingle and we got to talk about the wedding. It was wonderful!!
