Happy Thursday to you!  Why don’t you try having a "get-together"?  For example, when you’re doing OOT/Welcome bags, you could say "Hey Susie Anna Maria Bonita!  I’m going to have the bridesmaids over on Thursday to munch on some food, watch Grey’s Anatomy and stuff my welcome bags.  Wanna come?"  I think most BMs going into it knowing they’re going to be asked to help with something the way.  I think you’ll be fine!

If they’ve offered to help you out, then I’m sure they’d be willing to pitch in.  I like BridetoBee’s idea of having a party/planning-prep session.  Honestly, when there were times I needed help, I’d just email with the specific information like–"I am looking forsome help putting together programs this weekend.   Would you guys be available sometime this weekend to help out?".

If they’ve offered to help out, especially if they’ve offered more than once, take them up on it! I’ve sent out an email saying I’m planning on doing _______ on this day, is anyone free? And I always make sure there’s snacks and stuff.

Beats me. I have tried every suggestion offered by my fellow bees and and there is still no help fom my BMs and I would be lying if I said I am not bitterly disappointed in them.

I have the same problem!! I’d just prefer to do it myself but I know as we get closer I will need help. I’ve never been the person to ask for help without feeling bad about it. Curious to hear other suggestions from fellow bees! Like bridetobee2010’s so far!
