Everyone keeps telling me how quickly it will go, but i’m not getting married for another 1 year, 1 month, 29 days and 17 hours and I just can’t wait for it! How did everyone else cope when it seems so far away??

I’m a June 2018 bee as well! While sometimes I cannot wait, there is still a lot to do and plan for between now and next year. Right now I’m focused on finishing my hours for internship so I can graduate after the summer term, so that helps I have another goal to achieve first!! I’m just afraid of it flying by and will have things left to do last minute, haha!

juneweddingbee : Allow your life to be so much more than JUST your wedding day. Take up hobbies, read books, volunteer, do something that helps you appreciate the here and now. It will just be one day of many, after all; don’t stop living 🙂

juneweddingbee : I am taking my time and really thinking through every bit of planning. We just booked out photographer and videographer last week, after at least 3 months of searching. But now, I’ve got my venue, DJ, caterer, photo/video done. I love being so far ahead!!!!! I already have 10 bridesmaid dresses my girls can pick from an colors picked out.
Now I’m pinteresting DIY decorations and getting in shape for my engagement shoot and wedding dress shopping in August and September. My mom is a photographer so she’s going to take pictures of our venue around our wedding date and make beautiful watercolor invites for me. I’m working with my FSIL for homemade lawn games and we’re working on getting the design just right. I’m compiling a DIY list that I can work through, or assign out to my pushy but craft aunt to keep her busy the 3 months before the wedding. My mom and I are trying to work out flower arrangment designs that help us get th best bang for our buck. Lol My Dad has starter work on the wedding canopy which is going to be made from our old gazebo. And we’re ironing out our rain plan.
So my suggestion is to use the impatience to master plan your day, and stay on top of wedding work! It’s so much fun! A long engagement has bee working so well for me because I take forever to make decisions and I don’t like to spend money wihtout doing my due dilligence iwth research. A trait I picked up from my mom. So much research and planning fun yay!!! (I know, I’m a bit of a freak :P)
