I recently bought my wedding dress- Sleeping Beauty 218! Obviously I don’t have my dress yet and I haven’t talked to any seamstresses about bustles, but I was wondering what my option are for bustling my dress?
It has an asymmetrical chapel train with an organza overlayer. I’m not sure what the underlayer is…
Here’s a picture of the back;
Any suggestions would be helpful! Thank you!

I am also an alfred angelo bride..ariel 210 woop..my train kind of does the same thing as yours sweeping off to the side, I believe they are going to just bring up the other end and pin it on the side if that makes sense

@crystalsky43: Hmm… I think if you get your dress French/under-bustled, the asymmetry won’t matter much.
Like @Mrs.Packer: said, if you do an American/over-bustle, it might make more sense to have it pinned to the side instead of the middle.
Lovely dress, btw! I googled your dress to find out what the front looks like, and I really like it!

@Mrs.Packer: Thanks for your reply! Yay for Disney brides 🙂
I think I understand what you said. It does make sense to pin it to the side and not in the middle…I never thought of that 😛
@somethingaquamarine: I like the asymmetry, so I think I’ll have it pinned to the side instead of getting an underbustle. I think lol.
Thanks 🙂 I love my dress!! Can’t wait for it to come in!
