Talk to your seamstress! She'll know the best way. BTW my skirt was almost all tulle with a satin layer underneath, and it bustled just fine.
Hi,
sorry I cant help you, but I am confused as to how a tulle skirt would be bustled as well. My wedding dress' skirt is tulle but I will probably only have it sweep train...I would do a chapel train but how would it be bustled???
Oy...the beauty and confusion of tulle lol.
I don't know how you do it, BUT it is possible according to two bridal shops I went to and my seamstress.
I want an answer to this too - I hadn't even considered that it might be a problem!
My tulle dress was bustled with the bottom (heavy, non-tulle layer) bustled up first, then the tulle layer had a bustle of its own.
I'm not sure if that is the correct word for it, but it was basically two separate layers so that the heavy layer when not tear the tulle..
Hope this helps some!

So after dozens upon dozens of dresses tried on (and two purchased), I've finally got THE dress. The problem now is how do I bustle it? Theres a slight chapel train on it and the skirt is clearly huge! I've heard that you can't bustle tulle skirts and I've never seen any pictures of a dress like this bustled. Anyone have any knowledge or pictures to share?
