I’m confused about how i might DIY my own flowers and where to buy them, and the whole process. Everyone says to go to a grocery store or flower store 2 days before the wedding, but how can you ensure that the store you go to HAS all the specific flowers you need, and in the right amount? (lots).
Grocery stores often only have a couple types of flowers, and very very few of one specific flower. So i’m confused how it’s reliable to go to these places 2 days before.
They also get sold out, or a certain flower isnt in stock, etc..
If you have any great suggestions on reliable places to buy different flowers in bulk or wholesale, please let me know. I was not impressed with Costco/Giant today..they had a slim selection and said “just stop by the day before your wedding and have a look”
OK but that doesnt promise that they’d have the flowers i want, and in the right number!!
Please enlighten me!!

my flowers for my center pieces i’m getting from a local grocery store chain. Talk to the manager of the florist department of your grocery store and they will probably let you per order them. That’s what I’m doing. You could do that so you can order the types that you want 🙂 good luck

Do you have a Sam’s Club or Costco near you? I’m DIYing mine from Sam’s. All I need are hydrangeas and roses and you can order them a month in advance.

Check out Blooms by the Box (http://www.bloomsbythebox.com/). They do awesome (and reasonably priced!) boxes of flowers ready to be arranged (they even do coordinated fillers, etc.). They also have really helpful (and free!) step-by-step YouTube videos showing you how to arrange them for centerpieces and make bouquets. I’m using them for wildflower arrangments, but they have all kinds of boxes. Hope that helps!
