Oh yeah, it was the W4 that I did...
that is very weird that it hasn't changed!
Who handles the payroll at your company? Like usually it's outsourced to a payroll company? Maybe they were not made aware and forgot to change it?

If you changed your W4 to married and elected to have taxes withheld at the married rate, then and ONLY then will your paperwork show up as married.

I noticed that I did successfully change my marital status for federal by updating my W2...but it seems my state marital status, at least on my pay stubs, says single. What form do I need to do to update that?
