Our venue has purple chairs and I’m getting all kinds of crazy ideas about how to make them blend in. Surprisingly enough, I don’t want to cover them, not being a fan of chair covers. I saw this post:
and it made me think about navy tablecloths. Is that crazy? Will it look silly? I think our centerpieces are going to be just greenery and maybe some white dahlias. I thought about white tablecloths but I think that would draw too much attention to the fact that the chairs are purple…
I need your advice because my brain is over-weddinged!

I think you could definitely have navy linens. Possibly consider white (or purple…if they match) runners with your centerpieces. Keep your centerpieces as you mentioned (white/green). It’ll look great!

1. Send them over to me — one of my colors is purple!
2. What are your colors? Will navy or white work better with the rest of the decor?
3. I think either navy or white would be fine, but you want to make sure that the whole place isn’t too dark, with the navy linens. I guess it depends on your venue…but I’m sure either would be fine.

We’re not really doing colors — just a general aesthetic. The building has tons of natural light and it’s a three story room so we’re kind of just filling it with plants and candles.
