I love the curtains with the red detail in them! So pretty 🙂

Those are close to the colors in my living room. My couch is brown, I have curtains similar to the dark purple/grey ones and I have white pillows on the couch. I have 2 metallic/silver-ish mirrors framing the window.

I love those pillows! I would do those and the brown curtains with a solid accent color. Like throw in a couple red(or whatever color) pillows to mix in. And “red” rug or something.

Okay I am loving the drapes with the red on them – I can really envision it in your room. Also with that sparkly pillow. But what will tie it all together will be additional patterned and texture of pillows/rug.

Like these:

Even this to tie in the teal:

@sfigu16:  we have a brown microfiber sofa, and have deep red curtains, and accented the couch with cream, red, and some patterend pillows. Go for ones with different textures, patterns, and colors. As long as you stick to a “theme” of colors, you should be fine. For example, I have one that has a moroccan pattern, some ikat prints, and then this cute one from target with birds on it. I love the idea of adding in some metallics as well.

We have a kind of funky animal print rug (a mix of a few) that I wouldn’t mind replacing, but it’s definitely fun!

In a room with dark, rich colors, make sure you have good light sources (both natural and from fixtures) so it doesn’t look like a cave.

We used to have a brown microfibre sofa. Because brown is a neutral we used burgundy accents in the fall and winter, and switched them out for bright green and turquoise in the summer ( pillows, candles, vases  etc.). We kept the window treatment neutral.

We just bought all new furniture after our condo renovation and have wood floors, charcoal grey area rugs, brown leather sofa. the walls are painted in Benjamin Moore Balboa Mist- a soft grey.

We are still using the turquoise and bright green but may rethink the burgundy in the fall.

For your room, I would get a grey area rug- Ikea $139

MORUM Rug, flatwoven IKEA Flat woven rug. Suitable for use in the dining room because it is easy to keep clean and chairs can easily slide in and out.

use the grey curtains you pictured and the pillow, then bring in some other pillows with brown and grey  solids/prints.

This color combination is very relaxing and stylish.
