How about little pine wreaths covered in twinkle lights for the aisles? Not the blinking kind. I don’t know, I’m just seeing a lot of fresh old fashioned pine garlands, twinkle lights and oranges. Very colonial Williamsburg.

Very gorgeous chapel! I’m using lanterns to hang from the aisles (instead of bows) and using electric tea lights in them. You could use different colored thin bags with electric tea lights in them all around the base of the stairs and on the high ledge if you want to draw eyes up and add color.

Also, for ‘Christmas but not too Christmas’ you could get glass containers in different heights and widths (probably the same shape, but maybe mix-and-match would work) and fill them with the shiny glass ornaments in your reds and golds. Then maybe something a little shiny and green on your bouquets to set off the navy dresses.

Here’s my inspiration photo.

you could use garland (the kind that is made like a wreath) 1 going down each side .. the long kind with white lights wraped around them… & some pine cones laying around it… or with Gold ornaments!!! or gold ribbon not the cheapy kind but the kind that looks like lace kinda see threw..

Oh and also you could add a wedding arch you can find some on ebay for pretty cheap usually already with lights and you could add garland to it, or some white or even gold tule with red flowers?

That looks just like our chapel.  I was thinking of doing tulle pomanders.

I think it would be pretty to line the aisle with garland on each side and use the lantern idea on the pews.  In the windows you could do the electric taper candles that people put in their windows at Christmas time, and just have a floral arrangement on the altar that encorporates evergreen.  And what about wreaths on the doors?

We also have a lovely but simple church, and are going minimal on the decor to let it speak for itself.

EDIT: Line the aisle with FRESH evergreen garland, not only will it look lovely, it will smell fantabulous!!  This is a great place, and the stuff lasts forever!! http://www.sherwoodforestfarms.com/stories
